I am a Guatemalan-born entrepreneur and founder of Green View Tree Service, which I established in 2017. After immigrating to Providence as a teenager, with the support from my husband, I built my business from the ground up—starting with a $30 lawn mower and growing it into a trusted company serving homeowners and municipalities across Rhode Island. While earning my MBA from Johnson & Wales University, I developed the leadership and business strategy that allowed me to expand into tree services, becoming one of the few licensed female arborists in the state. When I need a jolt of energy, I disconnect from electronics and take a short walk with my dog, Rocky, and my kids. Breathing in the fresh air and being around nature helps me feel grounded, refocused, and ready to return to work with renewed energy.

A recent accomplishment I’m proud of is acquiring Better Lawns & Gardens, a landscaping company established in 1996 and its eight employees. I once thought I would sell my business one day but never imagined I would grow enough to acquire and operate another company under Green View.

My biggest source of inspiration is my husband, Ronald Chacón. He constantly pushes me to dream bigger and reminds me that anything is possible through hard work. He is the most hardworking person I have ever met. Watching him achieve his goals inspires me every day to believe in myself and keep striving for more.
